Only one crew is cutting today and that’s Jake’s crew of himself, Deon, Johann and TJ. They had to wait until about 12:30 to get going because of the moisture but they’ve been cutting since then and the wheat they are cutting right now is running about 45 bu/acre. It’s fun getting an update from Jake because after I ask him how he’s doing, he says, “I’m always doing good!” He’s a great guy and he’s great for OCF. It sounds like Chad got some family time today. One of his daughters, Claire, called me today to tell me they were going out for ice cream. I will wait until later in the day tomorrow to post another entry to the diary. It’s time to go put a steak on the grill and I’ll shout at you tomorrow. Travis
